Pension payment schedule for May
The National Social Security Institute (NSSI) has officially announced the pension payment schedule for the month of May. The process starts on May 7 and will continue until May 20 (Wednesday).
Important: Payments at post offices are carried out according to a schedule tailored to the pensioners' addresses.
For those of you who receive your money via bank transfer, the good news is that transfers to accounts are being made today, May 7.
Unemployment benefits
In addition to pensions, the NSSI also specified the date for the payment of unemployment benefits. They will be transferred on May 15 (Friday).
- Start of payments: May 7
- End of payments: May 20
- Benefits: May 15
According to the latest data from the institute for the month of February, the number of pensioners in Bulgaria amounts to 2,068,569 people.
