Market Review: SOFIX with Slight Growth, Bank Stocks Under Pressure

The Bulgarian Stock Exchange reports minimal fluctuations in the main indices, with banking and technology companies showing mixed performance in today's trading session.

The financial market in Bulgaria registered a slight increase in leading stock indicators. The main measure SOFIX marked a growth of 0.36%, reaching a level of 1040.63 points, while the broad index BGBX40 rose by 0.23% to 190.55 points.

The BEAM market performed weaker, recording a decline of 1.57% and reaching 107.57 points. In parallel, alternative indices BGREIT and BGTR30 showed positive dynamics.

The total turnover of the main market segment exceeded 1.180 million leva. The international market MTF BSE International realized trading of 74,590 leva, while the BEAM sector generated a turnover of over 15,000 leva.

Among the most notable movements were the shares of leading Bulgarian financial institutions. "First Investment Bank" and "Central Cooperative Bank" registered a decline of 2.69% and 0.58% respectively, trading at 5.06 and 1.70 leva per share.

The technology sector also reported interesting results. "Sirma Group Holding" lost 4.41% of its value, lowering the price to 1.30 leva per share, while "Sopharma" maintained a stable level of 2.46 leva.

Some companies remained relatively unchanged. "Agria Group Holding" continued to trade at 19.00 leva, while "Chimimpex" slightly decreased by 0.69% to 0.715 leva per share.

A positive highlight was the performance of "Bulgarian Stock Exchange", whose shares increased by 1.13%, reaching 8.95 leva.

On the BEAM market, additional movements were recorded for smaller companies. "IpoTech Sofcom" marked a decline of 3.66% to 3.68 leva, while "Dronamics Capital" lost 2.78%, trading at 2.80 leva per share.
