Traffic on road II-99, which connects Sozopol and Burgas, is disrupted following a serious accident near the fishing village of „Chengene Skele“. API reported that the incident has restricted traffic to a single lane.
The collision has made traversing the section difficult, and long queues formed on Sunday. Currently, vehicles are moving in both directions within a single lane.
Road Police teams are regulating traffic and releasing vehicles in stages. Road authorities are urging drivers to reduce speed, remain patient, and follow the instructions of officers until the roadway is fully cleared.
