A stone plaque with the likeness of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker will be unveiled and consecrated on February 5th (Thursday) at 1:00 PM on the facade of the Day Center for Children with Disabilities “St. Nicholas the Wonderworker” in Burgas. The event is on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the social institution, the center's management announced.
The consecration ritual will be performed by the Metropolitan of Sliven, Arseniy, who will serve a prayer service for the health of the children and the center's team.
The stone bas-relief was made and installed with the support of the civil charitable initiative “THANK YOU Burgas”. Representatives of Burgas Municipality, partner organizations, and citizens are invited to the ceremony.
The Day Center for Children with Disabilities “St. Nicholas the Wonderworker” in Burgas has been operating for 25 years, currently providing a range of social services for 30 children and young people with special needs. Activities at the center include motor rehabilitation, speech therapy and psychological therapy, art therapy, and training to acquire independent living skills.
