The resignation of the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet days ago sparked sharp debates in parliament regarding the budget for the coming year. Toshko Yordanov from "There Is Such a People" pointed out that the resignation was a decision of all three parties in the coalition. He believes that there is no chance of a new government within the framework of this parliament and therefore the budget will not be adopted.
Bozhidar Bozhanov from "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" and Kostadin Kostadinov from "Revival" also support the idea of early elections. The emphasis is on guaranteeing the fairness of the vote, highlighting the importance of machine voting.
Kostadin Kostadinov noted that extending the budget could hinder Bulgaria's entry into the Eurozone.
