The weather forecast for July 17, 2025 predicts extremely dynamic atmospheric conditions with multiple warning codes for different regions of the country. Meteorologists have announced a complex hydrometeorological situation that requires increased attention from citizens.

An orange code has been issued for 11 areas in Central and Northeastern Bulgaria, signaling a serious danger of thunderstorms and possible hail. In parallel, 8 areas in Western Bulgaria, parts of Northern and Eastern Bulgaria are placed under a yellow code for thunderstorm phenomena.

Temperature amplitudes will be extremely contrasting. By 3 PM, the forecast indicates temperatures of 24°-25° in the far northwestern regions, while in Southeastern Bulgaria, expected values reach 37°-38°. Four areas in Southeastern Bulgaria are under a yellow code for high temperatures.

The atmospheric front that will pass through the country will cause the most intense meteorological phenomena in the evening and during the night before Friday. In mountain areas, sunny weather is expected before noon, but around and after noon, cumulus-rain clouds will develop with short-term precipitation and thunderstorms.

The wind will be weak and moderate, initially from the southwest, and in the evening will orient from the northwest and gradually intensify. At an altitude of 1200 meters, the maximum temperature will reach around 25°, while at 2000 meters it will be around 17°.

The forecast along the Black Sea coast is calmer - sunny weather with maximum temperatures between 28° and 32°. The sea water temperature will vary between 24° and 27°, and the wave height will be minimal - 1-2 points.

Meteorologists recommend that citizens follow current warnings and take the necessary precautionary measures when the atmospheric front passes.
