The rains, which continued throughout the night, are still ongoing, creating tension among local residents.
At the same time, access to the vacation village "Elenite" remains prohibited. The reason is the risk of new floods that could endanger both the residents and the infrastructure in the area. A checkpoint is still in place, guarding the approaches to the resort.
Furthermore, a 24-hour police guard is also in effect. This is a response to the alarming cases of looting reported in the resort. Many apartments and houses have broken doors and windows, creating preconditions for theft and additional concerns for property owners.
