The critical fire situation put the national emergency response system to the test, as specialized services mobilized significant human and technical resources to control the disaster situation.

Statistics show impressive fire activity: out of 377 registered signals, 279 fires were successfully extinguished. By the morning of July 9, rescue teams were engaged in 52 parallel incidents, with 168 fire trucks and 461 professional staff.

The largest fire hotspots were localized in several regions. In the Plovdiv villa zone "Otdih", seven teams worked for hours to extinguish flames that affected between 15-20 buildings. An evacuation of 25-30 residents was carried out.

Dramatic events also unfolded in Straldzha municipality, where a fire engulfed vineyard areas. Six teams from different cities joined in extinguishing the fire, and the mayor declared a state of emergency for four settlements. Damages amount to about 1500 decares - including 15 decares of wheat, 450 decares of vineyards, and 1000 decares of dry vegetation.

The Burgas region was also affected, with five teams engaged in extinguishing 190 decares of dry vegetation near the village of Rosenets. 6-7 residential properties were affected in the area.

Firefighters from Pazardzhik region dealt with emerging hotspots in the villages of Zlokuchene and Aprilci, while forest fires were registered in multiple areas - including Veliko Tarnovo, Botevgrad, Novi Iskar, Sliven, Kardzhali, and Stara Zagora.

A positive fact is that in all these incidents, there were no human casualties among citizens, volunteers, or staff.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs issued an urgent appeal to citizens:

- Be extremely careful
- Follow fire prevention rules
- Do not create open fire
- Do not throw out unextinguished cigarettes
- If you notice a fire - immediately call 112
