Support for doctors and other specialists, proposed by the Mayor of Tsarevo, Marin Kirov, was approved by the local Municipal Council at its meeting today. The councilors also accepted several proposals submitted by Kirov, aimed at social policy, education, and culture in the municipality.
One of the items on the agenda was the approval of rules for awarding scholarships to those studying in the healthcare system. The goal is to encourage future medical specialists to pursue their professional activities in the territory of the municipality of Tsarevo.
The Municipal Council also accepted the proposal to establish a Public Council for the management of donations to support the population affected by the flood. The new body will guarantee transparency and efficiency in the distribution of funds.
During the meeting, consent was also given for the provision of social assistance to individuals and families in crisis situations, in accordance with the Methodology for the distribution of funds under the “Social Protection” fund and in connection with the declared state of emergency in the municipality.
The councilors also approved the Annual Programs for the development of community center activities for 2026 for the five community centers in the municipality of Tsarevo. The programs are aimed at sustainable development of cultural life, preserving traditions, and supporting modern forms of social and cultural activity.
