Nesebar Municipality carried out a large-scale disinfection in the area of the Elenite holiday village, which was affected by the flood on October 3.
The local authorities inform that disinfection was carried out on municipal areas cleaned by employees of the Municipal Enterprise "BKSO" - sidewalks and streets, in compliance with safety measures.
The treatment was done with professional equipment, designed for large-scale actions, using a preparation in accordance with the characteristics of the object and safety requirements.
After the great disaster in the area, local residents expressed concern about possible health risks due to the accumulated tons of mud, waste and uncleaned areas.
According to the people, there is a real danger of the spread of infections.
Nesebar Municipality informs that they will continue to carry out the planned disinsection, deratization and disinfection treatments on the territory of the settlements, as well as extraordinary ones if necessary.
