The Municipality of Burgas has introduced a new digital tool for assessing potential energy savings in the residential sector. The platform was developed as part of the international ComActivate project, which is funded by the LIFE program. Currently, the interactive model covers multi-family residential buildings in the "Vazrazhdane" district.
The digital tool provides detailed information on the impact of implementing energy efficiency measures. The project is in its early stages of development, with plans in the coming months to expand its scope to other neighborhoods in Burgas, as well as to further refine data for each individual building.
This new development complements the existing system for assessing the potential of rooftop spaces across the city. The goal of the Municipality of Burgas is to provide accessible data to assist citizens in making informed decisions about investments in energy-saving activities.
Residents with questions regarding energy efficiency and renewable energy sources can visit the Energy Office located in the NHK Cultural Center building. In parallel, the Municipality is also conducting a survey on how shared spaces in neighborhoods are used. Citizens can participate in the survey online by selecting Bulgarian in the page settings.
