Burgas Municipality is starting the new season for rental bicycles. From March 4th, 100 bicycles will be available, and later their number will increase to 200, the municipality's press center announced.
They will be located in 10 places in the city. The stands are chosen to be convenient for taking and leaving the bicycles. Some of them are the South Bus Station, the Pantheon monument, Izgrev Park, the Youth House.
During the winter season, the bicycles were taken in for technical maintenance.
Renting an electric bicycle is done through the Burgas Bikes mobile application for Android and iOS on Apple. After scanning a QR code, the application can be downloaded to a mobile phone and after a short registration, you can proceed to rent it.
Bicycles can only be returned to the specialized sites where they are located. The locations are marked precisely in the application. This avoids their indiscriminate abandonment in different places in the city.
In the electronic platform, everyone will be able to view the special map, which marks the available vehicles, as well as make a reservation for renting a bicycle.
The application also provides information on the tariffs and fees for the service provided, as well as the possibility of payment with a debit or credit card.
The movement of bicycles and scooters is prohibited in the pedestrian zones in the central part of the city.
