Burgas Municipality will submit a request to the Council of Ministers for the gratuitous provision of the auditorium and the library premises in the building of the Military Club - Burgas (former House of the People's Army), located at 30 Hristo Botev Street. This is provided for in a report by Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, submitted for consideration to the Municipal Council. The request covers an auditorium with a capacity of 540 seats and a total area of nearly 1000 sq. m, as well as the library premises.

The intention of Burgas Municipality is for the spaces to be used for culture and art, for holding theatrical performances, concerts, festivals, and other cultural events. The reason for the initiative is the increasing need for additional art spaces in the city and the great interest in cultural events. After discussions, an agreement in principle has been reached, with Burgas Municipality stating its readiness to provide financial resources for the renovation and modernization of the hall and the library spaces.

With the proposed decision, the Municipal Council should give consent to send an official request to the Council of Ministers and authorize the mayor to take all necessary actions for the implementation of the project.
