Currently, there are no overdue payments from the Health Insurance Fund to pharmacies; payments are proceeding according to schedule, commented Vasil Hodzhev from the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union in the program "The Day Begins".
According to Hodzhev, no difficulties are expected for payments around New Year, as the money is secured in the budget of the Health Insurance Fund. He pointed out that they have even received a letter notifying them of the reporting deadlines.
Hodzhev assured that there is no reason to worry about delays in the supply of medicines at the beginning of next year, as work will continue at a normal pace. The new contract with the Health Insurance Fund has been completed at the negotiation level.
From the NHIF, in a position sent to BNT, they confirm that payments are made regularly and that there are currently no delays or stoppages in payments.
