It has been established that there are no breaches on the sunken fishing vessel BH 8112. This was announced by the press center of the Ministry of Defense (MoD).
The work of specialists from the Navy (VMS) to inspect the sunken ship continued today. An inspection of the hull of the object was carried out with a remotely operated underwater apparatus, the ministry explained.
The Navy team will continue its activities tomorrow due to the difficult conditions and low visibility in the area, the MoD specified.
BTA recalls that last Wednesday the Ministry of Transport announced an incident with a fishing vessel in our waters. On February 18 at 11:10 a.m. a signal was received from the Coastal Center in Varna in the Marine Rescue Coordination Center for the fishing vessel VN 8112, with which radar contact was lost. The ship was in the area of Maslen Nos, and there were three people on board. On Friday, the Ministry of Defense announced that the fishing vessel had been found in the area of Maslen Nos. The specialists from the diving group confirmed the sinking of the fishing vessel at a depth of about 40 meters. The inspection was partial due to the high turbidity of the sea water and underwater currents in the area.
