The Burgas neighborhood “Vetren” now has a brand new recreation area. One of the most neglected and unsightly spaces in the area has been transformed into a green park with a modern and beautiful children's playground for the residents and guests of the neighborhood.
The new park is located near the Downtown center and was built on their initiative. The landscaping of the space was realized with the assistance of the Municipality of Burgas and with donations from UMBAL “Deva Maria” and “Lukoil”.
The park has newly built wide alleys, a wooden gazebo and comfortable benches with waste bins, as well as new lighting poles. In the central part, a new children's playground has been created with attractive climbing frames and slides, separated from the alleys with a wooden fence, which ensures additional safety for the youngest visitors.
The entire space is richly landscaped, and young trees have been planted, which over time will provide natural shade and comfort for rest and relaxation on sunny days. The recreation area is secured with a metal fence on the side of road E871 to Aytos, as well as with video surveillance cameras.
The official opening was attended by the children from “Downtown”, from the kindergarten “Kalina Malina” – Vetren neighborhood and from OU “Hristo Botev” – Vetren neighborhood, who will be among the main users of the new playground, as well as the owner of UMBAL “Deva Maria” Semir Abumelih, the director of CAU “Osvobozhdenie” Todor Kolev, the chief expert of Vetren neighborhood Hristina Yancheva and residents of the neighborhood.
With the realization of this project, the neighborhood “Vetren” gets another pleasant, modern and safe place for recreation, play and social gatherings.
