DNSC begins inspection of the "Astoria" complex
Deputy Minister of Regional Development Polya Zaneva-Dimitrova and the head of the DNSC, Eng. Georgi Darakchiev, held a key meeting with property owners in the "Astoria" complex, Elenite resort. The occasion is to determine the legality of the construction and the possibility of commissioning.
"Without the relevant connections, a building cannot be put into operation," stated Eng. Darakchiev.
What does the new inspection include?
- A full review of the documentation: plans, protocols, and certificates.
- On-site inspection by employees of RDNSC-Varna next week.
- Examination of the engineering infrastructure: water supply, sewage, and electricity.
The owners expressed readiness to cooperate, providing documentation for the construction participants with the aim of legalizing the properties in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Context of the situation
We remind you that on October 3 of last year, a torrential rain caused a devastating flood in the area, which claimed the lives of four people. A subsequent inspection by the DNSC identified illegal constructions, including an unauthorized modification of the Kozluka riverbed, which led to the issuance of a demolition order.
