The Nessebar folklore ensemble "Sea Stars", part of the Nessebar Municipal Children"s Complex, returned from Sveti Vlas, triumphant from the 15th edition of the World Folklore Championship.
Their success is stunning _ first place in the "Processed Folklore" section, a repeat of their nomination for the competition"s major awards, and a special award for exceptionally high complexity and technical mastery of the performances.
This is further proof of the exceptional talent and hard work of the young performers and their leaders. The championship is not just another victory, but confirmation of their high professional level and the raising of Bulgarian folklore on the world stage.
The success is even more significant given the strong competition. Twelve countries from all over the world _ Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Spain, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Morocco, Mexico, Romania, and Croatia _ competed for the prestigious awards.
Against this backdrop of diverse cultures and traditions, the Nessebar talents stood out with their exceptional performances, demonstrating virtuosity and artistry.
