A state of emergency has been declared in the municipality of Nessebar, due to the heavy rainfall that has hit the area. The situation, tense as a string, prompted the regional governor of Burgas, Vladimir Krumov, to take urgent measures. He activated the BG-ALERT system, a key tool for warning the population.
The appeal to the residents is categorical: to refrain from traveling and, if possible, to seek shelter in a high place. While the rain continues to pour over the city, we cannot ignore how important it is to unite in this difficult situation.
At this moment, in most of the municipality of Nessebar, the sky continues to be torn apart by heavy rain. The streets are turning into rivers, and visibility is reduced to a minimum. Tension hangs in the air while citizens await the unfolding of events.
Earlier in the day, the municipal administration in Nessebar made a decision that underscores the seriousness of the situation: schools and kindergartens will remain closed. In addition, public transport has stopped operating. Buses remain in the depots, not running routes.
On this extraordinary day, students remain at home, and life in the city is severely restricted. The suspension of public transport further complicates the situation.
We must not forget that a state of emergency has already been declared in the municipalities of Tsarevo and Tran. At the same time, a partial state of emergency is in effect for the city of Burgas. The question of the need for coordination and coordinated efforts to deal with this natural disaster inevitably arises.
