In the central part of Old Nesebar, a modern exhibition hall was solemnly opened, named after the famous local artist Radoslav Ralev. The strategic location of the gallery guarantees high attendance, especially during the active tourist season, when thousands of passing tourists can touch the authentic art of the region.
Mayor Nikolay Dimitrov emphasized the symbolic significance of the new cultural space, defining Nesebar as a city with exceptional spiritual energy. "Our place is not randomly chosen - true art is created here, inspired by the thousand-year history and unique architecture," he said during the official opening.
The first exhibition presents a diverse collection of works, including oil painting, watercolor, graphics, small sculpture, and artistic ceramics. Among the exhibited artists are established Nesebar authors such as Bogdan Bogdanov, Vesela Pencheva, Vidka Lipcheva, Virginia Bogdanova, and others.
The gallery sets the ambitious goal of being a platform for local and visiting artists, with special attention to be paid to young talents - children who have participated in national and international competitions. This next municipal space aims to make art accessible and visible to the general public.
The new exhibition space is another proof that Nesebar continues to be a living center of culture and creative inspiration, preserving its rich artistic traditions.
