Neftochimic won their fifth straight game in the South-East Third League, beating Haskovo 2-0 at the Lazur stadium in Burgas. The referee sent off three players.
The first goal came in the 2nd minute. Denis Tokmak took a powerful throw-in from Georgi Madzharov and passed to Ventsi Slavov in the box. The Haskovo keeper saved his shot, but Hristo Georgiev was quickest to react in the scramble and scored.
Soon after, Ventsislav Slavov shot again, and the visitors' keeper stopped it once more.
Miroslav Radev made it 2-0 in the 55th minute, scoring from close range after another scramble in the Haskovo box.
In the 75th minute, Haskovo's Vasil Vasilev was shown a straight red card for hitting Martin Nikolov off the ball. Nikolov, a Neftochimic defender, got a second yellow card in the same incident and also had to leave the pitch.
Eight minutes later, Neftochimic striker Maksim Kiryakov got past Haskovo's Kaloyan Delchev. Delchev fouled him before he could break clear, and the referee sent Delchev off. Haskovo finished with two players sent off, Neftochimic with one.
Kiryakov had two more good chances before the end but did not score.
Neftochimic visit Spartak (Plovdiv) on Saturday, 24 October, at 3pm.
