More than 200 children watched the play "Puss in Boots" on stage at Central Park Burgas in the Slaveykov complex. The show was put on by the Burgas State Puppet Theatre, which performed in the city's new cultural venue for the first time.
Kids from the Iglika kindergarten and Dimcho Debelyanov high school took to the stage. They followed the story of Pierre and his helper Ludovic — the cat in boots with a sword, who turns the lazy miller's son into a king.
Actors Asya Atanasova, Delyan Kyosev and Kalin Zafirov led the children through the Cat's tricks, the meeting with the evil sorcerer Firliban and Pierre's dream of becoming king.
The show came about through a partnership between Central Park Burgas and the Burgas State Puppet Theatre.
