On July 17, 2025, in the last hours of the day, the road between Burgas and "Sunny Beach" was blocked due to a large-scale traffic accident involving three motorcycles. The incident caused significant traffic disruption and required immediate intervention by local authorities.

The root cause of the chain collision lies in the failure to maintain a safe distance by a 29-year-old woman from the village of Pripek. Her motorcycle crashed into another motorcycle that had suddenly reduced speed, which triggered a consecutive chain of collisions.

Three people around 29 years old were injured and immediately transported to a local medical facility. Medical examinations revealed injuries of varying severity: the woman has a fracture of the right collarbone and multiple abrasions, while the other two motorcyclists have an open wound on the thigh and a sprain, respectively.

Road police and rescue teams quickly arrived at the scene of the incident. They provided the necessary initial medical assistance and took measures to clear the roadway. A specialized platform was used to remove the damaged motorcycles, which allowed the restoration of normal traffic.

The investigation into the causes and circumstances of the incident is ongoing. Local authorities appeal to all traffic participants to be extremely careful and maintain safe distances between vehicles, especially on busy summer routes.

This incident again underscores the critical importance of driving discipline and caution, especially during the active tourist season when traffic is extremely intense.
