An enduro motorbike and a black car crashed today in Karnobat, on Moskva Street near the turn for the village of Draganci. The crash happened outside the office building of the "Patstroy" asphalt plant, and police are examining the scene.
The car has heavy damage to the front. The bike ended up several metres away, next to the bike lane, with debris from the crash scattered across the road.
The cause of the crash is not yet known. One theory is that someone failed to give way.
People gathered at the scene, including a man in motorcycle gear, though it's not confirmed whether he was the one riding the bike.
The junction is one of the busiest in town. This isn't the first crash involving a two-wheeled vehicle on Moskva Street. In March 2022, a motorcyclist was taken to hospital after colliding with a car at the junction with Ekzarh Antim I Street.
