The Prime Minister of Moldova, Dorin Recean, emphasized the potential for bilateral economic cooperation between the two countries during an official meeting with his Bulgarian counterpart Rosen Zhelyazkov. The focus was placed on common investment interests in strategic areas such as energy, infrastructure projects, and logistics chains.

Recean defined technical education as an extremely promising area that could serve as a platform for future rapprochement between the two countries. Of particular interest are the opportunities for professional and academic exchange, which would strengthen bilateral relations.

For his part, the Bulgarian Prime Minister focused attention on Moldova's European integration. Zhelyazkov emphasized that full membership in the European Union would contribute to more effective functioning of the common market, especially in the energy and trade sectors.

Among the leading export opportunities were mentioned Moldovan agricultural products, particularly wine. Bulgaria expressed readiness to support its partners in the development of mechanical engineering, high technologies, gas infrastructure, and digital transformation.

The strategic importance of the Black Sea highway project was highlighted as a key element of future economic cooperation, which will connect the two countries in a south-north direction.
