The Future of Healthcare: Students from All Over Bulgaria in Burgas
On May 21, Burgas became a hub for medical science. The eighth student scientific conference themed "Healthcare Today and Tomorrow – Prevention, Care, and Sustainable Health" brought together future specialists from the largest universities in the country.
"The conference is establishing itself as a national platform for young specialists who will fill the shortage of personnel in public health," shared the Rector of the Burgas State University, Prof. Sotirov.
Highlights of the Conference:
- Scale: 96 participants and 63 scientific reports presented at three locations.
- Location: Symbolic hosting at the new "St. Anastasia" Children's Hospital, connecting theory with real-world practice.
- Focus: Prevention, innovative care, and sustainable health.
Recognition for the Best
After fierce competition, the jury distinguished the best projects:
- First place: Mariela Katsova
- Second place: Nikolay Ontsov and the team of Sevilay Dzhagadir, Habish Muradova, and Hadzher Uzun
- Third place: Nikol Runeva and the team of Feydzhan Durmush, Zeynebnur Hasanova, and Natalia Morozova
The conference concluded with an inspiring message: medicine is not just a profession, but a mission for a more responsible and healthy tomorrow.
