The innovative educational initiative Tech Academy launched its third consecutive edition in the seaside city of Burgas, becoming a significant event for technological training of young talents. The event, jointly organized by the Association for Innovations, Business Services, and Technologies (AIBEST) and the international software company SoftServe, received official support from the Burgas Municipality and the Regional Education Management.

The official opening was met with exceptional interest, with Deputy Mayor Stanimir Apostolov and the Director of the "Economics and Economic Activities" Department among the official guests. During the opening ceremony, Mr. Apostolov offered special guidance to the participants, emphasizing the significance of the initiative and promising worthy recognition for the best teams.

The Academy brought together students from seven leading specialized schools in Burgas, including the Professional High School of Computer Programming, PGEE "Konstantin Fotinov", PPMG "Acad. Nikola Obreshkov" and other prestigious educational institutions. Participants from the national program "IT Skills and Career" of the Ministry of Education were also included.

The planned training format involves intensive three-week work, during which students will be divided into mixed teams of 4 to 6 people. This approach aims to develop key competencies such as teamwork, creative thinking, and practical application of technological knowledge.

Leading mentors from Bulgarian and international IT companies will guide participants in developing a specific platform. At the end of the training process, young talents will present their projects to an expert jury composed of representatives from business, educational institutions, and local administration.

Natalia Shishkova-Georgieva, Executive Director of AIBEST, emphasized the long-term value of such initiatives: "Accumulated experience shows the exceptional effect of summer academies on students' motivation and professional growth".

The initiative is part of broader efforts to build a sustainable connection between the education system and the technology industry. Previous editions of Tech Academy in the cities of Burgas, Stara Zagora, and Pravets demonstrate the growing interest in practical training in the IT sector.

The event, which will continue until July 28, is another step towards preparing young professionals with current digital skills and innovative thinking.
