A two-day youth event dedicated to the green energy transition will open its doors this Saturday and Sunday, October 25th and 26th, at the Youth International Center - Burgas, located in the "Meden Rudnik" residential complex on "Apostol Voyvoda" street, number 15. The event, organized under the project "Youth Leading the Green Energy Transition", aims to provide young people with the opportunity, through energy education, personal development, and entrepreneurship, to become informed, responsible, and proactive individuals.
Starting at 11:00 AM, the program will begin with an outdoor demonstration. All attendees will have the unique opportunity to get a close look at the "Batkomobil" – an electric vehicle created by the talented students of the Vocational School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronics (PGMEE) - Burgas. The vehicle is included in a restoration project funded under the same project. The presentation of other innovative initiatives by young scientists and specialists in the field of green technologies is also planned.
The second day will offer participants teamwork on real-life case studies and projects for green energy, again starting at 11:00 AM. During the event, ideas for a sustainable future will be shared, and everyone will have the opportunity to participate in the upcoming project activities. The atmosphere will be charged with enthusiasm and a desire to achieve a common goal.
The event is part of Activity 5 of the project "Youth Leading the Green Energy Transition" (YLGET), implemented in partnership between OP "International Youth Cultural Center" - Burgas (Bulgaria), Asociația Edulifelong (Romania) and SAYGIN EGITIMCILER VE GIRISIMCILER DERNEGI (Turkey), and is carried out with the financial support of the "Erasmus+" Programme of the European Union, project № 2024-3-RO01-KA210-YOU-000290227.
