The territorial directorates of the Customs Agency in Burgas, Varna, and Ruse are starting public sales through auctions with secret bidding of goods confiscated in favor of the state. This was announced by the Customs Agency.
The procedures are in accordance with the Tax-Insurance Procedure Code (ДОПК), and the offered items were seized during customs inspections, and the proceedings against them have already been completed.
The auctions announced by “Customs Burgas” include smartphones, car spare parts and accessories, as well as other goods. “Customs Varna” offers a variety of household goods, fabrics and tools. The territorial directorate “Customs Ruse” offers for sale a tanker truck and a cargo vehicle.
The items are grouped, and a starting bid price is determined for each group. To participate in the auctions, candidates must submit an application form with a price offer and deposit a deposit of 20 percent of the starting price. Goods with a non-Union customs status are sold without included state receivables – customs duty and VAT, and are released after customs clearance.
