Burgas Territorial Customs Directorate has announced a public sale by auction with secret bidding of various goods. This was announced by the Customs Agency.
Among the goods to be sold are mobile phones and accessories for them, building materials, textiles - clothes, fabrics, bedding, shoes.
The sale is carried out in accordance with the Tax-Insurance Procedure Code (TIPC). The goods were seized during customs checks at Kapitan Andreevo Customs Point in the period from 2021 to 2024. Pre-trial or administrative penalty proceedings have already been completed for them.
The goods are announced in 20 groups, one of which includes 200 smartphones, discovered during a customs check on a car traveling from Bulgaria to Turkey. The mobile phones were hidden around the engine.
Another group includes parts for a hunting rifle and a machine for filling cartridges, which customs officers discovered, hidden in boxes among the luggage of a Turkish citizen traveling to Germany. Also for sale at auction are 1050 vaporizer heads for electronic hookahs, which were hidden around his waist with stretch film by a Bulgarian citizen traveling to Turkey.
Those wishing to participate in the auction must submit an application form for each group separately, as well as a price offer. A deposit is also paid for each group of goods to participate in the auction.
Applications for participation in the auction are submitted to the registry office of the Burgas Territorial Customs Directorate in Svilengrad, 1 “Asen Iliev” Street.
