Nobody paid the protesters – they are truly disgusted with you. This was stated on the Facebook profile of the co-chair of "Yes, Bulgaria", Ivaylo Mirchev, in response to words from the leader of GERB, Boyko Borisov.

Can you imagine how many smugglers are squealing now and rubbing their hands and shouting - hopefully Radev, Asen Vasilev, some of these, will come, so that those who stopped the smuggling will be removed, how many tax officials and VAT fraudsters are praying and lighting candles in the churches we built, to be gone, so that they can cheat again. And a large part of them financed the protests. They know it, and the colleagues from PP-DB and the others and some are already saying it," said Boyko Borisov during a live broadcast today on Facebook.

Some time ago, Borisov said that he had fallen from power himself – a brazen statement. But today he is even more brazen, saying that the protests were financed by tax officials and VAT fraudsters, Mirchev also wrote.

Let me tell him clearly: the people brought you down with unprecedented protests across the country. You did not fall alone. They brought you down because this government, which Borisov is proud of and calls "the best", was absolutely subordinate to Peevski, he adds.

According to Ivaylo Mirchev, Borisov tried to concoct some kind of false narrative about what happened, as he always does. This disregard for people's intellect ate away at his head – the belief that all sorts of nonsense and lies can be sold as truth. They can't. He can only babble these chatter in front of the active members, Mirchev commented.

Otherwise, there are a few important things that he needs to do - to remind him: signatures from the GERB parliamentary group for the resignation of the head of the CPC, returning 100% machine voting and removing the NSO security - his and Peevski's. He has no courage for them, Mirchev adds.

Ivaylo Mirchev adds that the funds for the sound and construction of the stage of the protests were collected on a voluntary basis and it is a matter of several tens of thousands of leva for each of these events. He also notes that after the first protest, Boyko Borisov announced that it was financed by the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria (AICB).
