The Minister of Internal Affairs Daniel Mitov announced upcoming significant transformations in the road control system, which will be voted on in the National Assembly in the shortest possible time.

In an expert commentary, Mitov emphasized that connecting toll cameras with the Ministry of Interior systems represents a long-awaited technological advancement. This move will allow for significantly more effective tracking of road violations and instant response against aggressive driving.

A key element of the new measures are mobile control vehicles that will patrol highways and secondary roads. Their main task will be to immediately identify and sanction drivers demonstrating risky behavior.

According to the plans of the internal department, on Monday, initial data from the connected toll cameras will be summarized. Experts will present detailed statistical information about the first results of the new integrated system.

Minister Mitov expressed optimism about the gradual improvement of driving culture. "With consistency, consciousness, and increased responsibility, we can achieve a lasting reduction in traffic accidents," he was categorical.

The package of legislative changes is expected to come into force as soon as possible, with the goal of creating a safer road environment through modern technological and administrative control mechanisms.

The leadership of the Ministry of Interior believes that the introduced innovations will contribute to forming a new culture among drivers and will reduce the risks of road incidents.
