Council of Ministers discusses 31 points, including personnel changes

The government will decide on the dismissal of the State Agency for Refugees head and approve changes to the Law on Special Intelligence Means.

The Council of Ministers will consider 31 items on its agenda, including legislative amendments to the Law on Special Intelligence Means.

Within the financial block, the government is planning additional expenditures for the ministries of culture, sports, and education. The Cabinet will also decide on an additional transfer to the State Social Security budget for 2026.

The Cabinet's decisions regarding education and social security will have implications for budgets and social services in Burgas and the region.

Personnel reshuffles are also expected within the administration. The ministers will appoint a new chairperson for the Consumer Protection Commission, as well as decide on the dismissal of the current head of the State Agency for Refugees and the appointment of his successor.
