Minister of Agriculture and Food Plamen Abrovski does not expect a significant increase in bread prices. According to him, the production of wheat, which serves as the raw material, is under the ministry's control.
Decisions regarding the prices of staple food products have a direct impact on the budgets of households in Burgas and the region.
In the coming days, Abrovski will begin talks with the Minister of Transport to discuss further reducing transport costs through the country's railway infrastructure. "Bread production is much more affected by the price of electricity and labor costs," the minister noted.
