The "BalkanFolk-Majorca" Association has officially announced the upcoming fourth edition of the International Folklore Festival, which will be held on October 3 and 4, 2025. The event will be organized directly in front of the impressive Cathedral of Palma, which will further emphasize its significance and attractiveness.
The organizers share their ambitious vision for a large-scale cultural event that will unite dance groups from different parts of the world. "Our goal is to create a true folklore journey where traditional rhythms and cultural messages will meet on one common stage," they state.
The dance ensemble of the association has a rich history, created in 2017 by a group of enthusiasts who carry the Bulgarian folklore spirit in their hearts. Since its founding, they have realized three successful international festivals – in 2019, 2023, and 2024.
In the upcoming weeks, the organizers will gradually present the participants in the fourth edition of "BalkanFolk". The event promises to be a large-scale international platform for cultural exchange and presentation of authentic folklore from different countries.
The festival will be held in the heart of Palma de Majorca, offering the audience a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the diversity of world dance traditions.
