Ballet Magic in Burgas: "Sara-Nora Prima" Begins
State Opera – Burgas becomes the center of world ballet art with the start of the fourth edition of the "Sara-Nora Prima" International Ballet Competition. The forum, which will run until July 12, brings together over 150 professional dancers from different continents.
"The goal of the educational forum is to discover talents from various schools and guide them into the professional sphere," the organizers emphasize.
Star Jury and Mentors
Participants in the academy will have the chance to learn from the elite of dance. Mentors for this year's edition are:
- Prof. Dr. Maria (Masha) Ilieva
- Denys Cherevychko – Principal Dancer of the Vienna State Opera
- Galina Srebreva – Director of the National School of Dance Art (NUTI)
- Konstantin Kostyukov – International Choreographer
- Ayshem Sunal Savaşkurt – Director of the National Ballet in Istanbul
Event Program
The competition program will take place between July 6 and July 9, and the finale will be marked by a grand gala concert on July 11. The host of the events will be the popular television journalist Georgi Lyubenov.
The event is a key part of Burgas' bid for European Capital of Culture 2032 and is carried out with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Burgas.
