"Metamorphosis" – an emotional story about family ties
Filming has wrapped for the new Bulgarian short feature film "Metamorphosis" – a project inspired by truths that touch every family. The story focuses on the complex web of feelings, unspoken words, and memories between two brothers who face each other after a long separation.
The film does not seek easy answers, but offers a space for recognition and empathy.
The magic of Pomorie on the big screen
The city of Pomorie is not just a backdrop, but a "silent yet eloquent character" in the film. The streets, the sea, and the specific light of the seaside town shape the visual language of the film, thanks to cinematographer and co-screenwriter Ahmed Ali, who knows the location in detail.
- Lead roles: Martin Taskov and Kiril Nedkov
- Director and co-screenwriter: Branimir Miladinov
- Producer: GOOD SISTERS STUDIO
The project is realized with the financial support of the National Culture Fund under the "Debuts 2024" program. The film is now being prepared for a festival premiere, where it will present Pomorie as an inspiring cinematic destination to international audiences.
