A man was hurt today after crashing while paragliding around midday on the path between Burgas and the Sarafovo district, near the coast, BurgasMedia has learned.
There's no official word yet on how badly he was hurt or what caused the crash.
Winds in Burgas today are moderate to strong, 8 to 10 metres per second, with stronger gusts along the path. They're blowing from the east and northeast, which creates tricky conditions along the coast, with sudden shifts in air currents that can be risky for paragliders. Weather in the area is more unsettled than usual right now.
