Start of the August matriculation session
On August 21, the state matriculation exam in Bulgarian language and literature will be held in 435 schools across the country. This is the first exam of the August-September session, intended for high school graduates who were not admitted, missed previous sessions, or received a failing grade.
Graduates must be at the schools at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam, which begins exactly at 8:30 AM.
Key dates and organization
- August 21: Matriculation exam in BLL.
- August 24: Second mandatory matriculation exam in a profiling subject and state exam for professional qualification.
- August 25: Additional matriculation exams at the student's request.
Over 2,600 proctors are involved in the organization, and the exam variant for BLL will be drawn from over 900,000 possible combinations.
Awaiting the results
The Ministry of Education and Science (MES) informs that the results of the exams will be announced by September 4, inclusive. We remind you that during the regular session in May-June, a historic success was achieved, with the average result in BLL reaching 60 points (Good 4.39).
