Massive Russian drone attack hit five Ukrainian regions

Russian military launched a large-scale strike with unmanned aerial vehicles across various regions of Ukraine, causing significant material damage and partially paralyzing infrastructure.

During the night operation on July 5, Russian forces conducted a large-scale drone attack that struck strategic facilities in five Ukrainian regions. The damage covered a wide range of infrastructure and civilian facilities.

Kirovohrad Oblast suffered from the destruction of an agricultural enterprise, where economic buildings and agricultural machinery were destroyed. Despite the extensive damage, no human casualties were reported.

In Kyiv Oblast, drones caused destruction and fires in industrial and residential buildings of the Vyshhorod territorial community. Zaporizhzhia was attacked with five Iranian "Shahid" drones, which damaged warehouse spaces and partially damaged a private enterprise.

The Kharkiv region also sustained damage in the Novobavarian and Shevchenkiv districts, with two people injured during the attack. The most severe consequences were inflicted in Mykolaiv Oblast, where port facilities, power transmission networks, and 13 private homes were affected.

In the village of Rybakivka, the attack destroyed recreation bases, a post office, and a local store. The result of the operation was 531 households without electricity and significant material damage.
