The saga surrounding "Petar Stanić" is heading towards its end after nearly a month of uncertainty. In the end, the Ludogorets Serbian midfielder will move to the Greek side Olympiacos, reports "Match Telegraph".

The deal was reached after Stanić agreed to reduce his financial demands by approximately 28%. The two clubs had long since reached an agreement on the transfer, according to which Ludogorets will receive between 8 and 10 million euros for their player, depending on his performance at the Piraeus giants.

Stanić himself, however, had long been unable to reach an agreement with Olympiacos, which was why the negotiations were frozen. In Serbia, reports suggest that the player blamed his agent for the failure, who had demanded a monthly salary of 140,000 euros, as well as an additional signing bonus. Because of this, the Serbian entrusted the talks to another agent, who will insist on remuneration of 100,000 euros - about 28% less - and will not ask for money upfront upon signing the contract.

Expectations are that the Olympiacos management will accept this option. Thus, Thursday, when Ludogorets hosts Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Conference League second leg, could turn out to be Petar Stanić's last match for the "Eagles".
