The British brand Lotus has introduced its latest top-tier variant of the Emira model – Emira 420 Sport. The car is designed to be the most powerful and lightweight version in the series, combining precision for the track with comfort for everyday use.
The new 2.0-liter turbocharged engine generates an impressive 420 hp and 500 Nm of torque, accelerating the coupe to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
Engineering Improvements
- Lightweighting: The optional "Light Handling" package reduces weight by 25 kg and increases downforce by another 25 kg.
- Cooling: Aerodynamic changes include a new splitter and enlarged vents, improving airflow to the radiators by up to 15%.
- Chassis: Aluminum frame with double wishbones and a 5 mm lower ground clearance for maximum grip.
Specifications and Customization
The interior offers 12-way adjustable seats and carbon fiber elements. Customers can choose from 16 colors, including the exclusive "Tangelo Orange," as well as new 20-inch forged wheels.
Price and Availability
The Lotus Emira 420 Sport is now available for orders, with the first deliveries expected in August 2026. Prices in Europe start from 129,900 euros.
