Lokomotiv (Plovdiv) coach Dusan Kosic shared his critical assessment after the contested 1:1 draw against Montana in the second round of efbet League. The specialist openly expressed his dissatisfaction with the team's performance, highlighting several key problems in the game.
In his statement to Diema Sport, Kosic emphasized that the team came with a clear goal of winning but failed to fully realize its intentions. "Although we gave our maximum, we lacked effectiveness," the coach said while analyzing the match.
The specialist's main remarks were related to two areas - weak pressing activity and the inability to find the right tactical solutions against Montana's well-organized defense. "Either team could have won, but the final result does not satisfy us," Kosic was adamant.
The coach also identified specific areas for improvement, emphasizing the need for the team to be more aggressive and close to the opponent's players during the press. This tactical element, according to him, was missed during the match and is the main reason for the unconvincing performance.
The 1:1 draw left Lokomotiv (Plovdiv) in the middle of the tournament table, and the coaching staff will have to work hard to eliminate the tactical and technical shortcomings demonstrated in the match against Montana.
