Lithuania is starting the search for the song it will send to Eurovision 2027 in Burgas.
There will be five shows in all — four semi-finals and a final. Viewers will watch the semi-finals on 18, 19, 25 and 26 January 2027, and the winner will be picked on 20 February. At least 30 songs will make it into the selection, and the deadline to enter is 11 November.
Organisers have changed the format, and this time the public will vote online only. The final result will be decided by the viewers' online vote together with an international jury.
Lithuania got zero points at its Eurovision debut in 1994, and did not take part again until 1999. It is the only one of the three Baltic states never to have won, but it has reached the grand final more often than Estonia or Latvia, making it through in all six contests of the 2020s so far.
