Levski and Kairat Almaty will begin their third qualifying round matches of the Champions League on August 4, and analysts expect a match with a limited number of goals, taking into account the defensive solidity of both teams in recent weeks.

The Kazakh champion qualified for this stage after eliminating Omonia Nicosia "6:5" on penalties, following a "1:1" draw in both legs of the second qualifying round. Kairat's only goal in the second leg was scored by Edmilson, who brought the team back into the battle for qualification.

Statistics show that Kairat has not lost in 10 of its last 12 matches, and in the last five games, it has conceded an average of "0.60" goals per match, while scoring an average of "1.60" goals per game.

Levski, for its part, remains unbeaten in the last 13 matches, and given the "Blues" form in the championship, the team shows more pronounced offensive activity – an average of "2.20" goals scored per match in the last five games, while conceding an average of "0.80" goals per match.

The Bulgarian representative qualified for this stage after a match against Universitatea Craiova, and the winner of that pair was determined as Kairat's opponent in the third round of the tournament.

The first match between Levski and Kairat is scheduled for August 4, and the second leg is to be played in the middle of the month, with the winner securing a place in the next qualifying phase of the Champions League.
