A car hit a pedestrian in the central part of Burgas.
The incident happened shortly before 2 pm on Slavyanska Street, near the church of St. St. Cyril and Methodius.
Police teams and an ambulance arrived at the scene.
After the impact, the car went onto the sidewalk and hit the curb of the garden located in the middle of the intersection. The car suffered material damage to the front.
There is currently no official information on the condition of the injured woman, who was lying on the sidewalk after the impact.
According to eyewitnesses, the car was moving at low speed and was making a left turn when the pedestrian suddenly came out onto the roadway between parked cars.
The injured woman was transported by ambulance. The driver of the car will be tested for alcohol use.
The causes of the incident are being clarified.
