The National Qualification for World Paella Day Cup 2025 will turn Burgas into an epicenter of gastronomic excitement during the July days. An eight-member team of professional chefs, including two international participants, will demonstrate virtuoso skills in the art of preparing the traditional Spanish dish.

An authoritative jury, led by iconic figures such as Miguel Angel Perez Alba - Deputy Director of VISIT VALÈNCIA, and world champion Joe William Padilla Castro, will evaluate the contestants' mastery. The event goes beyond an ordinary culinary competition, transforming into a true celebration of Mediterranean culinary tradition.

Parallel to the main competition, the organizers have prepared a series of free master classes that will showcase Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine. Leading chefs from Canada, Russia, and the Philippines will share professional techniques and culinary secrets with the audience.

The initiative is part of the large-scale SOLE festival, whose main goal is to promote Spanish cuisine, culture, and music in Bulgaria. The winner of the Burgas stage will win the exceptional opportunity to represent our country in the international final, which will be held on September 20 in Valencia.
