The prestigious Serbian football club Vojvodina Novi Sad officially announced the acquisition of Cameroonian defender Kuffre Eta, who is leaving CSKA 1948 after a short stay. The footballer signed a contract that will bind him to the team until the summer of 2029.
Before the transfer, Eta was part of the team from Bistritza, where he made only 7 official matches. Despite his short performance, he managed to attract the attention of Vojvodina, which did not spare one million euros for his buyout.
From the financial deal, Belasitsa will receive around 50,000 euros as a percentage of the transfer. Before the official presentation, the two teams – CSKA 1948 and Vojvodina, played a friendly match in Austria, which ended in a 2:2 draw.
The management of Vojvodina Novi Sad expressed optimism about the new addition, wishing Eta success in the team. "We wish our new player luck and success in the team of the old lady," the club reported.
