The government adopted a new Tariff for the fees collected by the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) under the Postal Services Act.
The regulation repeals the current tariff adopted with Council of Ministers Decree No. 144 of 2002. The change is related to the introduction of the euro.
The deadline for paying the annual control fee is changed from quarterly to a single payment – by July 15 of the following year.
The requirement to present a certified payment order for payments made by bank transfer is also removed.
The new tariff aims to provide accurate information on the amount of state fees payable in euros, as well as to reduce the administrative burden for postal operators.
