Three people from Sliven are involved in a daring attack against the church "St. Mary" in Burgas, the police announced. According to the information, the robbery was committed at the beginning of July, and the investigation continues by officers of the First Police Station - Burgas.
Two individuals, a 12-year-old girl and a 24-year-old woman, also from Sliven, are responsible for the theft of about 30 meters of power copper cable. The value of the stolen items amounts to nearly 300 leva. According to police sources, the two entered the churchyard after jumping over the metal lattice fence.
Along with this theft, an attack was also carried out against an outdoor air conditioning unit, valued at about 2000 leva. A 16-year-old youth, also from Sliven, is responsible for this crime, and he has made a full confession to his actions.
The perpetrators caused damage to the sanctuary, which caused bewilderment among the local residents. In front of the church, the sun cast long shadows while law enforcement officers collected evidence, creating a tense atmosphere. Immediately next to the fence, neighbors discussed what had happened, visibly outraged by the incident. The investigation into the case continues with full force, and the authorities hope to clarify all the circumstances surrounding the incident.
